The 1st Amendment
The 1st Amendment was about freedom,religion,press,assembly,and petition.The freedom of religion prohibits the government from establishing religions,protects the belief of the citizens.The freedom of speech with the certain exceptions this cause prohibits every level of government,from to local federal,from limiting the speech for the citizens.The freedom of press with certain exceptions the cause prohibits from the government the communicate speakers and writers,whether or not they are members of the press.The right to petition that citizens can communicate with the government and elected leaders through petitions.The right to assembly protects the rights of the citizens to join together to engage in peaceful protests.
The 2nd Amendment
The 2nd Amendment talks about the state militias and the right to bear arms.Colonial militias played a big role in the Revolutionary War.The farmers of the constitution thought that the states needed the militias for emergencies.
The 3rd Amendment
The 3rd Amendment is about the military not being able to force citizens to house soldiers.Before the 3rd amendment the british would pressured colonists to let british soldiers live in there homes and feed them.British leaders also forced colonists to let them search for illegal goods.
The 4th Amendment
The 4th amendment rule talks about before searching a citizens property you must have a search warrant.A search warrant gives authorities the right to search someone's property.A judge issue a search warrant only when it might uncover evidence to a crime.
The 5th Amendment
The 5th Amendment protects people from having to testify their own trial.If anyone is not guilty in a criminal trial cannot face double jeopardy which means he or she would not be tried again for the same crime.The government cannot accuse of a crime without no reason.
The 6th Amendment
The 6th Amendment talks about the rights of a person who has been indicted.The person being accused of a crime should be given a punishment that goes along with the crime they committed for example a person should not be given a death sentence for ceiling five dollars. The criminal is being prosecuted can have a witness against him in obtaining witness in his favor.
The 7th Amendment

The 8th Amendment
This allows people on trial to go for bail.The amount of money someone goes up for bail is considered on the crime committed.Bail is money that is given for defendant to be release from jail with the promise to appear in court.
The 9th Amendment
The 9th amendment gives people the rights of fair courts system.The constitution is not the only rights the citizens have.
The 10th Amendment
The 10th amendment gives the people the right to vote for the people who represent the them in government.The states and the people have the additional power that the constitution does not give to congress.This amendment keeps the balance of power between the federal and state governments.
